Cone Beam Scanner
The Dental Cone Beam scanner uses Computed Tomography (CT) technologies to produce 3-dimensional images of the teeth, soft-tissues, bone, and nerve in just one scan. This is a special type of x-ray that’s often used when regular facial or dental x-rays just aren’t enough. It’s an excellent diagnostic tool that we use on many of our patients because it offers valuable and detailed information about the patient’s oral structures.

Propel
Propel is a technology that was designed to work hand-in-hand with other more traditional orthodontic tools such as regular braces and Invisalign®. With the help of Propel, it’s possible for patients to dramatically reduce the wait time required before their braces can be removed, which, for many patients, is a big reason to celebrate! In terms of orthodontic tools, Propel is one of the most effective treatments currently available. Dr. Christ uses Propel to help their patients have a speedier journey toward a great smile.
Vpro5
The VPro5 is a non-invasive, at-home use orthodontic device from the Propel brand. With a growing need for easy-to-use, comfortable, and efficient orthodontic solutions, Propel has developed the VPro5 to give Invisalign® patients to improve the fit and final results of their treatment. At the Center for Dental Excellence East Lake, we frequently recommend the VPro5 to our Invisalign® patients to speed up the treatment process by improving seating and enhances the final results. We have also found that the VPro5 (high frequency vibration) enhances the integration of implants with the bone for long term success.
iTero – Element II
The iTero Element II Scanner is a high-precision state-of-the-art 3D intra-oral scanning tool. The 3D images are produced in a painless, non-invasive procedure, specifically designed to work with the Invisalign system, all the while incorporating simulation technology that enables Dr Christ and Dr. Nowicki to get an excellent view of the mouth while also allowing the patient to see the outcome of their treatment before it is even started!
Digital X-Rays
When used periodically, digital X-rays allow us to intercept common dental concerns that aren’t visible during your exam. Situations like decay, gum disease, bone loss, cysts or abscessed teeth all need to be evaluated with an X-ray to assess their severity.
VelScope
VelScope is a non-invasive oral cancer screening device for enhanced visualization of the oral mucosa to find suspicious areas not seen by the naked eye.
CariVue
InfraRed early caries (decay) detection that can detect decay even before it is evident on X-rays. In many instances the decay can be arrested with good oral hygiene and topical applications of fluoride.
